GB-Admin Sycerika McMahon sealed a place at the London Olympics after making the 100m breaststroke qualifying time at the European Championships in Hungary.
The Portaferry teenager broke her own Irish record after clocking a time of 1:08.37 in the heats on Tuesday.
McMahon has progressed to the semi-finals as the third fastest qualifier.
Belfast swimmer Melanie Nocher will have one last crack at the Olympic 200m backstroke qualifying mark in Tuesday evening’s final.
Nocher cut .03 of a second off her Irish record as she clocked 2:11.68 to finish second in her semi-final.
That left her sixth fastest qualifier but her time was still .84 outside the London Games standard.
The deadline for Olympic qualification is 31 May.
Nocher’s latest Irish record came after a morning swim where she finished third in her heat in 2:13.09.
The Northern Irishwoman cut almost a second and a half off that time in the afternoon but her clocking was still .84 off the penal London A standard of 2:10.84.
McMahon missed out on the Olympics A standard for the 100m breaststroke by only 0.3 of a second last month.
The Hungary event is the last realistic chance to qualify as 31 May is Swim Ireland’s Olympic deadline.
Nocher won a bronze medal in the event at the European Short Course Championships in December.
Another Ulster swimmer Beth Carson missed out on qualification in the 50m butterfly heats while Karl Burdis [100m backstroke] and Nuala Murphy [400m individual medley] also failed to progress.
Fiona Doyle and Shani Stallard are also representing Ireland at the Championships.
Grainne Murphy and Barry Murphy, who have both already achieved the qualification standard for the Olympics, have opted not to compete in the Hungary event which is taking place from 21-28 May.
Carson is aiming to continue her impressive season after breaking Michelle Smith’s 16-year-old 100m Irish butterfly record in March.
